Thorn Park Country House is an elegant 145-year-old homestead set in 65 acres of gently rolling hills and stately gums in the heart of the Clare Valley wine region. David Hay has had many years experience in preparing food, has a great love of fresh produce and an innate sense and flair in food preparation. Clausens of Clare is a contempory 5 star luxury Australian bed and breakfast set on 80 acres in the heart of the Clare Valley wine region. You will be welcomed with refreshments by your hosts, Diane and Alvin Clausen, after the leisurely 2-hour drive north of Adelaide. A range of fine foods and wine is on offer, including a lavish buffet breakfast with cooked specialties and the option of gourmet lunch baskets and dinner served with local wines. With room for 8 guests in four queen and king-size bedrooms, all with individual en-suites and rainwater showers, Clausens of Clare offers stylish accommodation in a relaxed and private setting. Each room offers stunning valley and vine views with its own access to the verandah. The house has been designed in harmony with the environment.
