Queensland’s burgeoning wine industry is one of the State’s best keep secrets.  Whilst wine grapes have been flourishing since the 1860s the wine industry is relatively young, and like all good wines is developing with age.

Queensland wines are lighter, crisper, fruitier – distinctive qualities that are attracting wide attention and winning many awards and medals.

Popular wine growing regions can be found across the State from the tropical north where you will find several fruit wineries to the South East corner and the popular Granite Belt, home to almost 50 winery cellar doors and renowned for its fine, full-bodied reds and very crisp wines.
