Wildwood Valley - Mad about Food Cooking School
Sioban has designed her cooking schools so that the participants can be hands on! To get the most out of cooking you need to combine all your senses, so Sioban wants everyone to taste, feel, smell, see and listen to the food that you will be producing together. Groups can vary in numbers from 6 to 10 people. You can choose to organise your own group of friends and book a weekend exclusively for yourselves or you can make a booking to join a scheduled cooking school weekend throughout the year.
Cooking School Weekends
- Fri, 28 th -30 th July, 2006 – Fresh from Tuscany !
- Fri, 18 th -20 th August, 2006 – Thai Temptations!
- Fri, 15 th – 17 th September, 2006 – Taste of Tuscany !
- Fri, 13 th – 15 th October, 2006 – Thai Temptations!
The schedule for our weekend of cooking and fun begins:
Friday
A sumptuous 3-course welcome dinner prepared by Sioban will give Carlo and Sioban an opportunity to welcome you all and for you to informally meet the other guests.
Saturday
- 8am till 9.30am – Gourmet cooked or continental breakfast
- 10.30am – Cooking School commences, aprons on and let the fun begin!
4 hours of blood, sweat and laughter over the hot stove!
- 2.30pm – Lunch around the big 12-foot table to enjoy the taste sensations you have cooked and relax with a well earned glass of wine
- 4.30pm – Free time to explore the area or relax at your leisure
Evening – We can arrange a reservation for you in one of our nearby restaurants or for those preferring a night in, a simple platter can be provided to enjoy with a glass of wine.
Sunday
8.00am till 9.30 am – Leisurely gourmet cooked or continental breakfast to farewell your cooking companions and new found friends.
